EXTRA NOTES

WP Super Cache Status

ON WP
Cache and Super Cache enabled
HALF ON Super Cache Disabled, only legacy WP-Cache
caching.
OFF WP
Cache and Super Cache disabled
Don’t cache pages for logged in users.

Proudly tell the world your server is Digg proof! (places a message in your blog’s
footer)

Clear all cache files when a post or page is published. (This may significantly slow
down saving of posts.)

Cache rebuild. Serve a supercache file to anonymous users while a new file is being generated. Recommended for very busy websites with lots of comments. Makes “directly cached pages” and “Lockdown mode” obsolete.
Coarse file locking. You probably don’t need this but it may help if your server is
underpowered. Warning! May cause your server to lock up in very rare
cases! List the newest cached pages (may be expensive to run on busy sites, use with caution.)
Mobile device support using WordPress
Mobile Edition.
Note: If uninstalling this plugin, make sure the directory
/home/sabhlok/public_html/freedomteam.in/blog/wp-content is writeable
by the webserver so the files advanced-cache.php and cache-config.php can be deleted automatically. (Making sure those files are writeable too is probably a good idea!)

Uninstall using the uninstall script to remove files and directories created by the plugin. (Please see readme.txt for instructions on uninstalling this script.)
Need help? Check the Super Cache readme file. It includes installation documentation, a FAQ and Troubleshooting tips. The support forum is also available. Your question may already have been answered.

NOTE: WHY CAN’T WE POST BY EMAIL ON THE FORUM?

Google Group (or for that matter any other group) is mainly a mailing list. It has a flat management system where the subject of the email constitutes a thread. So it is really very straight forward to organize all the emails in a thread based on the subject of emails.

But a Forum has multiple tiers like Groups, Forum, series of sub-forums, Topics, Posts etc. and Blog can have posts, pages, categories, tags etc, something that can’t be easily expressed in the subject of an email. If you have noticed many applications have been attempting this feature with limited success by putting delimited identifiers in the subject of an email and giving strict instructions to users to NOT to temper the subject. [this is something we can also attempt]

Even a very advanced Blogging software like WordPress doesn’t support this feature of creation of posts or pages via email. They had an experimental feature of allowing users to post their comments by email but even that’s not there any more.
